There’s a conversation going on right now that we need save redfield cinema and I feel like it’s massively important that people take this serious, you know.
Because when you uncover a gem like that it should be preserved.
I do feel that it should be used for its intended purpose, which is to be a cinema, offering inspiration to many people. The young the old, you know. People of different cultures, classes, genders… of different religions, everybody basically.
What we need in that area, especially within East Bristol within that community, is a space for people to be able to showcase their art and inspire others to do the same. As a born and bred Bristolian I’ve definitely noticed that there is a lot of segregation within the city and we need to kind of put put those people first essentially because ultimately you know, within those communities we need beacons of hope… you know in order to actually kind of continue, you know, and shine.
